Queen Penthesilea (Βασίλισσα Πενθεσίλεια)

PENTHESILEIA (Penthesilea) was an Amazon queen who led her troops to Troy in support of King Priamos during the Trojan War. Penthesileia’s name means “mourned by the people” from the Greek words penthos and laôs.
