Penelope (Πηνελόπη)

Penelope, is an ancient Greek name. Its origin is from Greek word Peni (weave) and ‘lepo” (unfold) and means “The artist weaver”
Penelope, a well-known heroine from Homer’s Odyssey, was the daughter of the king of Amyklos, Ikarius, and of Perivoia. Her name is still today a symbol of the faithful and devoted wife.
